This policy governs the terms of service and refund eligibility for all courses, both live (instructor-led) and digital (self-paced), purchased through our dedicated e-learning platform. By completing a transaction, you agree to these terms.
1. Platform Role and Financial Intermediation
Our platform operates as a secure intermediary and marketplace. Tutors are independent, third-party contractors who are solely responsible for the quality, content, and delivery of their courses. Our role is strictly limited to providing the e-learning infrastructure and securely managing the financial transaction between the Customer (Learner) and the Tutor (Service Provider).
Fund Security and Payment Hold (Escrow)
- Payment Security: All course fees are collected using secure, encrypted third-party payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Credit/Debit Cards).
- Fund Holding: To protect the customer’s purchase, the full payment is placed in a temporary holding (escrow) account. Funds are not released to the Tutor until the minimum review period is complete and no eligible refund request has been processed.
- Minimum Hold: Funds are held for a minimum of 7 days from the date of purchase, or until the Live Class refund window has conclusively closed, whichever is later.
2. Mandatory Communication and Refund Procedure
Critical Requirement: On-Platform Communication
All formal communication, support requests, and refund claims must be initiated and conducted exclusively through our official platform channels.
WE DO NOT ENTERTAIN A COMMUNICATION THAT GOES OUTSIDE OF OUR PLATFORM. This includes direct emails, third-party messaging apps, or social media communication with the Tutor. This may leads to immediate suspension of the account.
No refunds will be eligible for any claim or dispute where the communication evidence is not contained within our platform’s logging system.
A. Live Class Refunds (Instructor-Led)
Due to the fixed scheduling and instructor commitment for live classes, the refund window is extremely strict.
| Criterion | Details and Requirements |
| Contact Deadline | The customer must submit a refund request within 7 days of the scheduled start time of the purchase. |
| Basis for Refund | The only acceptable basis for a refund is that the live class was materially not as described in the course syllabus or sales page. |
| Mandatory Evidence | The request must be accompanied by verifiable evidence proving the claim. This evidence is non-negotiable and must include: Screen Recordings and Screenshots demonstrating the specific discrepancy, technical failure (on our platform’s end), or content issue. |
| Non-Eligibility | Refunds will be rejected for: technical issues on the customer’s end (e.g., poor internet, webcam failure); a “change of mind”; or subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., not liking the instructor’s style). |
B. Digital Course Refunds (Self-Paced/Recorded)
Refunds for digital, self-paced content are strictly tied to the access status of the user.
| Criterion | Details and Requirements |
| Eligibility Window | The user must NOT have enrolled in or accessed any of the course content. Accessing even a single introductory video, downloading course materials, or viewing a quiz page constitutes “enrollment” and voids refund eligibility. |
| Enrollment Status | The user must NOT have enrolled in or accessed any of the course content. Accessing even a single introductory video, downloading course materials, or viewing a quiz page constitutes “enrollment” and voids refund eligibility. Although the purchases are final, we may charge refund fees as applicable before the refund. |
| Course Not As Described | Refund may be considered only if the user has not accessed the course, but can provide evidence (e.g., a link to the sales page) that the course description is materially false or misleading. |
3. Non-Refundable Transaction Fees and Deduction Schedule
All fees charged by third-party payment processors for the original transaction are non-recoverable by us and are therefore non-refundable to the customer. All approved refund amounts will be subject to a deduction to cover these costs.
| Payment Method Used | Applicable Refund Deduction |
| PayPal Transactions | 4.5% of the original transaction amount. |
| Credit and Debit Cards | 3.5% of the original transaction amount. |
| Minimum Deduction | A minimum of $2.00 USD will be deducted from the refund, regardless of the transaction type or percentage deduction, to cover fixed administrative costs. |
Final Refund Calculation
The amount returned to the customer will be the original purchase price minus the applicable transaction fees and minimum deduction
Important Note: The Transaction Fee collected is non-refundable. Any fees the customer may have paid to their own bank or card issuer for the initial purchase are also non-refundable by us.
